They made it!

Just a quick update:   I heard from the India team early this morning.  They made it to Hyderabad with no problems and then began what was supposed to be a 6 hour taxi ride to their home for the next 3 months.  After quite a few more hours in the cars, they arrived at their apartment and are blessed with a wonderful home and beds for everyone!  They’re doing well and excited to begin ministry soon!

A New Way of Prayer

“If a dream moves you to serve God with a greater passion, do so; it may be God speaking to you in a new way.” Coming into training camp i felt so many anxious expectations of the people, worship, prayer, and activities that i would encounter. And now only four days into our journey so many doors have been opened, so many things changed, and so many relationships built and strengthened.   During these few days spent at training the worshiping and prayer here totally renewed my way of seeing the Lord. “I Have A Dream”

Martin Luther King Jr was well-known by the ground shaking speech he gave to end slavery. This Speech, “I Have A Dream” was his heart’s cry.      Monday night our team experienced life on the streets of downtown Atlanta from 10pm to around 3am. At 12am we found a spot and started praying about what God wanted us to sacrifice on this trip.      When I was 16, God gave me a dream to be a missionary to India. I have always waited for God to open...

Cry out for insidght and ask for understanding.” Proverbs 2:1-3 Some of us are scared for the world. Some of us ask ourselves, if we don’t change the world, who will? The presence of God does the only thing it can, change everything. And I have the presence of God in me, so the only thing I can do is change everything! God is going to use me to answer other peoples prayer. He will use me to give...

Spontanous Crazy GOD-Loving Family Unity Freedom

That pretty much sums up how this week has gone for me. I have already had a lot of growth and new experiences, but I wouldn’t trade this for anything. I have been writing in my journal practically every day and have about 9 pages of experiences, so it is a little hard to condense. But I’ve decided on two main events: Being homeless in downtown Atlanta and painting our team vision canvas. Monday night we were surprised to find that we were going to be living as if we were homeless for 6 hours from 10 P.M. to 4 A.M. While it was exceptionally cold, I don’t think we would...
