“If a dream moves you to serve God with a greater passion, do so; it may be God speaking to you in a new way.”
Coming into training camp i felt so many anxious expectations of the people, worship, prayer, and activities that i would encounter. And now only four days into our journey so many doors have been opened, so many things changed, and so many relationships built and strengthened.
During these few days spent at training the worshiping and prayer here totally renewed my way of seeing the Lord. The complete freedom and joy in praising Christ is inspiring and truly changing. Learning to open your heart completely and letting the spirit pour in, letting God take over and guide you to serve Him and carry out His will is one of the most incredible and humbling feeling imaginable.
We were shown how to pray over others and to not be afraid to speak whatever God is putting onto your heart. This I am still getting used to but when it is seen coming all together it is awesome!! This type of prayer and worship brought all of the teams together with a spiritual connection, building and strengthening our team relationships.
About a week before traveling to camp i experienced an extremely vivid and realistic dream. I stood in a strange place with my family and friends standing around me talking, laughing, and having a blast. All of a sudden everyone disappeared and i was standing alone. As i stood there I saw an old woman walking slowly toward me. i had never met her before but welcomed her as she placed her hands on my shoulders and looked me in the eyes. The feeling was so peaceful to me but at the same time confusing. I figured that it didnt mean anything and pushed it aside for awhile.
During worship as we all praised and prayed to our Lord and listened for His voice my leader Katie had a vision for each of the team members. When i heard her vision for me that God had given to her I was in complete awe. She said that she saw me in India with a woman, crying with her, my hands on her, feeling her pain and frustration.
To see these connect and how God works in telling us His will for us and how we can better serve him is so incredible. And to think of just a glimpse of what else God is going to reveal and how He will act through all of us on our journey is inspiring.
