…way to go managod

I didn’t really have a subject to write about as i sat down to write but in India you never know when you will have internet so when you have the chance you take it. Before I could even pray and ask God what he wanted me to write about the Holy Spirit said Pastor K. Pastor Kituveajvnueifjao (just kidding, I don’t know his name that’s why we call him pastor K) is an Indian pastor whos church is in the same Building that we are staying in. He is, from what I understand, the head Pastor for ICM, an organization that has planted hundreds of churches all over Andhra Pradesh. He...

We are in India!!!!

We have been here for a week only and already have seen and done so much! Its is such a change from home it  is insane. The cultural differences take awhile to get used to but the people are so kind and giving. As we go to the different local villages surrounding Ongole and do house visits we have been able to meet so many families. Many of these families are struggling with sickness, financial, and spiritual problems and ask for prayer for healing from God. Even though they have so little it amazes me how much they are willing to give. Whenever we visit a home the families get out...

A Call to Power. A Call to Love.

A week in India has been survived and we’ve come out almost unscathed. A few of us have been stomach sick so far, but nothing doctor worthy. We’ve had the opportunity to dabble in a few different offerings here: church meetings, village outreach, and orphanage visits.    Village outreach is incredibly draining, since it is basically walking to multiple different houses and praying over people. India is very heavily influenced spiritually, both good and bad. We’ve prayed over people that are periodically possessed by demons, those who...

God of This City

As I listen to my favorite song by Chris Tomlin, “God of This City”, I reflect on the day God placed me in downtown Springfield, MO. It was on Dec 12, 2009 that God broke my heart for the lost and broken. He brought Michael B. Free to me and as God allowed me to bless Michael, He allowed Michael to bless me as well.           It was my last weekend in Springfield and I had set the whole day aside from my studying from finals because I felt God drawing me to pray from 10am to 10pm...

Incredible

Driving into Ongole on Sunday 31st was on of the most eye opening and overwhelming things ever. Wild dogs, trash all over the place, burn piles, heavy dust, buses that looks like sheet metal stapled together, so many people peeing on the road, crowded streets, families of 3 with luggage squeezed unto motorcycles and mopeds..these are only some of the devastating scenes of poverty that have crossed my sight. It’s so sad. “How can I ever change this much poverty? Impact this many people?” Thousands more questions running through my head as we passed through this strange but...

Training camp…

I’m sorry this is late but before we left i did not have enough time to get it up. so i will post it now and then the current one ok? ok. In my searching I found a path. This path to most people looks like an old jeep trail, cause really thats what it is, but to people like myself who over analyze things and read to far into EVERYTHING it is a metaphore. It stands for the journey that led me here to Georgia.  This path goes through thw woods where it it darker and cooler and yes i do realize this sounds unbelievably cliche, however,  this really spoke to my heart. This...
