I haven’t really posted in a while. I just haven’t really felt like I had anything to say. I sit down at my computer everyday and just wait for some great story to come out and then my mind goes blank and I suddenly have nothing to say. I still don’t have some great story, I don’t have an incredible word to share, I barely have a sentence of what’s going on. So I’m just going to lay out some key points of what’s going on here because it’s really not about me having some great story or about me being able to write some really incredible blog.
-Every week—Tuesday through Sunday—we go to Sarah’s Covenant Home
-I’m not really a kid person. So I often find myself wondering what in the world I’m doing here. I’m still not really sure.
-I have seriously fallen in love with several kids.
-God has been showing me all the lies that I’ve been believing.
-Satan is continuing to lie to me but I no longer believe him.
-SCH already has 85 kids. They are expecting 20 more to come any day. Many of the 20 new kids will be critical when they arrive.
-In 2 weeks we leave for Calcutta. I have no clue what we’re doing there.
-As a team we’ve begun a fast (I’ll blog more about this later, be prepared to get involved).
-I miss my sister, my parents, and my friends terribly. I’m really struggling with not focusing on getting home.
-I haven’t gotten lice.
-God is doing incredible things through SCH and I’m excited to be a part of it.
