Friday Night Life

Usually Friday nights mean getting dressed up for a night on the town or maybe going to a movie, but in India it means throw on your Indian clothes and walk through the dirt and the dust to pray for people. I am not going to lie, I did not want to wake up from my nap and go walk around for three hours to pray for people that I probably wouldn't see get healed. My attitude was far from what it should have been. Who am I to say I wont see people get healed? Who am I to think the God of the Universe wont show up in India?   After my team prayed over the night, I started to...

The Story of a Villager

We did our second village outreach on Friday night and it was an awesome night having the Lord lead us.  We went to bless but feel we received more blessings in return from the amazing men, women, and children we met. We were able to see the passion and hope God has given them through their tears.  They expressed their love by blessing us with soda and snacks. They shared their stories, which brought us to a place of awe with the Lord. His love and power is beyond what we can comprehend.    One of the families we visited shared a story of their recent miracle. The...

Unfathomably Faithful

God is unfathomable and infamous. He is mysterious and mighty. How can a God so big and powerful love a small girl like me? Sometimes I do not understand the affection that God has for me. It has been easy for me to think that God doesn't love me as much as He loves others, but that is a lie! God knows me personally. He knows every freckle on my face and the number of hairs on my head. Just because God is the King of the universe does not mean He doesn't have time to spend with me. Our God is a personal God and loves to spend time with His children.    ...

A day in the life…

My mom emailed me the other day and asked what a typical day is like for us and I just had to laugh cause you just never know… But I thought some of our avid blog followers  were wondering the same thing…what does serving in India look like? Well I'd be happy to tell you…. We wake up and eat breakfast have corporate worship and prayer time and get ready for the day. Then we roll out usually to SCH. Where we clean, love on kids, and do some administrative things (files, files, and more files)(which I have come to confirm I really love). Lately we've been...

Village Outreach

We went on our first village outreach on Friday the 11th to a small village with roughly 60 homes and a Christian church, with a small following.   When we arrived, children crowded the van to greet us and to shake our hands.  We were introduced to the pastor of the village and he showed us the church of the village.  The church is a one-room building that had colorful decorations across the ceiling, chairs that can be moved in and out, a speaker, and a podium.  The church building is small but I know that it is a place where people are hungry for the word and...
