The Story of a Villager

We did our second village outreach on Friday night and it was an awesome night having the Lord lead us.  We went to bless but feel we received more blessings in return from the amazing men, women, and children we met. We were able to see the passion and hope God has given them through their tears.  They expressed their love by blessing us with soda and snacks. They shared their stories, which brought us to a place of awe with the Lord. His love and power is beyond what we can comprehend.

One of the families we visited shared a story of their recent miracle. The man of the house, a husband and father, began experiencing great pain one day from his waist down through his feet. It was a burning sensation that continued just long enough to bring this man to a breaking point. The pain became so unbearable that he tried to kill himself.  He surprisingly survived his suicide attempt.  After this, he learned about Jesus, accepted Him as his Lord and Savior, and was completely healed of all pain.  When his family heard of his healing, they all became believers!

God is working in India because He loves these people. He created them for a purpose and a plan and those that know Him are desperate for him.  They hunger for his word, to hear Him speak and to praise Him.

I have no doubt in my mind that going out to encourage brothers/sisters in Christ, and being a light to those who do not know Jesus are the good works  that we were created for. We were created to tell people who they are in Christ!

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.  Ephesians 2:10
