Hello from India! I am so glad to finally have a second to sit down
and let you all know what the Lord has done over the past few days.
Our team has been going non stop since tuesday morning at 6:30 am. We
traveled for literally 48 hours to get to our final destination,
Ongole, Andhra Pradesh. We are so thankful for the Lords protection in
all our travels so far.
I am sure you are all wondering what i will be doing now that i am
here. My team and I will be working for the first fours weeks in
Sarah’s Covenant Home (SCH). SCH is an orphanage for special needs
children and it has over 84 children at this moment and will be
welcoming 18 other children from the state orphanage this month They
are doing this only through faith that God will provide.
I am so excited to be working along side a ministry that believes in
these children. In Indian society these children are looked at as
being cursed and of now value. Through SCH these children are getting
the love and a family they never knew they could have. These children
need lots of love and attention, and at SCH they are being healed by
love. The Lord is doing big things in India and I am so excited He is
letting me be apart of it!
Please continue to pray for peace and patience in such a chaotic
culture. Also please pray for healing in these children’s lives for
the glory of God. Thank you for all your prayers!
