Long long ago in a far away land…

This has been one the most life-changing weeks in so many different ways! First off, God has blessed me with such a great team of extraordinary girls. I have been so excited to get to know them, and God has already used us to speak words of encouragement over each other.    Last night was probably one of my favorite nights. We had our last session of the day, in which we talked about prophesying over each other, or allowing God to speak through us to lift one another up! We prayed that God would silence any other voice but his own and speak through us. You wouldn't...

It was the best of times and…..well the best of times

Well hello there! At this point all I can say is Wow! I have already experienced so much and I have only been away three days. First of all I love my team and leader and God couldn't have given me better people to go on this journey with me :). These past fews days I have gotten to experience what prophesying over people is all about. God made is presence known to all of us. People said things to me that directly came from God without even knowing what was going on in my heart. This all came from our Lord and Savior! It's amazing the things that can happen when you believe and...

Getting Cozy with Crystal

Hello Everyone! It is day five of my expedition to do mission work in a country on the other side of the world: India. Today is the last day of our training camp in Georgia and it has been quite an experience thus far. My team is awesome, the messages and worship has blown me away, and a fire inside of me has ignited. My team consists of seven girls. Our leader, Lindsay, is very bold and easy going. I know she will lead us all into great things. Alyssa is a warrior in our team and I am so excited to see what God has planned for her in the next four months! Hannah is hilarious and I know...

6 planes, 6 airports, 24 hours, 1 desitination…

The doors were opened the details were worked out, and so in only a month I have raised $5500, gotten shots, a visa, and a one way ticket out of Miami. I am stepping far out of Miami Springs and into India. Knowing little about where I’ll be staying, what I’ll be doing or who I’ll be with. The only thing I know for sure is God is calling me to India. So in less then 24 hours I will be traveling to Andhra Pradesh with 6 amazing women.   Based on training camp I know that this is going to be the most amazing 4 months of my life. We have been challenged in so many ways...

In the beginning..

√The past two days have been so crazy. We arrived yesterday at the Atlanta Airport and sat around for 4 hours waiting for other team members. When everyone got there we split into our mission teams( SE Asia, Kenya, Uganda, Nicaragua, and India) and got sent on a scavenger hunt to our housing for the night. We boarded the tram and hit downtown Atlanta. We found our way with (no help from our leaders) to a homeless shelter called Safeway(keep in mind we had no idea that that’s where we would be staying for a night.) We were all surprised but very thankful to see a bed. No, the...

Dont You Know Who I Am?

It seems as though in America many people walk around with a sense of entitlement based on how they define themselves. I overheard 2 people talking on the gateway while boarding the plane this morning. The man was telling the woman with him that there was a mini security checkpoint at an airport and he got stopped and had his bag searched. She responded didn’t you tell them who you were. To which he replied yeah but it didn’t matter, I wasn’t president yet…So I’m thinking I don’t care what you’re the president of, how much you paid for your flight...
