God, I praise and thank you for this beautiful day. I thank you for being my father and never leaving my side. I thank you for sticking by me, even when I gave up on you. I thank you for choosing me even when I denied you. I thank you for holding me and drawing close to me when I was scared or worried. I thank you for picking me back up when I failed. I thank you for your forgiveness and redemption. For seeing me as a Saint not a sinner. I thank you for not only taking away my punishment, but then adopting me as your own daughter.
I thank you for having mercy and patience on a wicked nation. I thank you for loving those who have turned their backs on you to serve the enemy. I thank you for continuing to pursue each one of us individually. Thank you for taking each step of this journey with us, and staying by our side even when we are angry towards you.
You do not grow weary, You do not become discouraged. You are strong for the weak. You fill me with hope, You fill my heart with peace, You shower me with grace. You shine in the darkness. You lighten my path. You have breathed life into me and freed me from the dark life I had lived. You have freed me from the lies of Satan. You have broken the chains of death. You have won the war. You have fought the battle to win over your people. We are no longer slaves, but we are Your people. We are Your sons and daughters. We are Your children. You are the righteous One. You are Holy, set apart! No one can ever reach you. Therefore you reached down to us. You took our hands and saved us. You are perfect and just.
One can search a whole lifetime for words to describe you and never come close. You are indescribable.
You have been gentle to me. You waited patiently for me to invite you in. You are a warrior. You fought for my heart. You saved me from death. You have rescued me from the hands of the enemy. He left me angry, hopeless, and wounded. You found me and had pity on me. You saved me from what I deserved. You put me back together. You gave me purpose. You softened my bitter heart. There is no one like you.
You are beautiful, mighty and strong. You truly are a Savior and there is no other in all the world like You. There is no power greater than You. Nothing can compare. You have given us your spirit. You have given us authority. If you are with us who can stand against us! You are our shield. A safe place. You guard us from the attacks of the enemy. You are greater than any trial or temptation, than any sin or disease, than any fear or evil power. We have nothing to fear, not even death of the physical body. You are God. May the world see your glory and fall down, humbled before your throne. You are the King and apart from you there is no life. Everything is meaningless. You are the source. You are the Everlasting God, Who was and is and is to come.
