"Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us." John 4:11
Since I have been in India God has really layed on my heart just to love. To love others is to live in Christ. I have been praying a lot and asking God to give me love to pour into the people and children here. Loving people should be so easy, yet we make it so hard.The people here have already shown me love by how welcoming and generous they are. You will always see smiles! I feel like in America we take love and these things for granted. Many twist love into being a chore rather than something that comes from your heart. I have been inspired by the people to be more open and welcoming. We are so spoiled in the way we live and expect to have things handed to us in a spoon. Here there are people who live in boxes and huts that seem so grateful and still have it in their hearts to say hello and give you a smile. I think sometimes we have the mind set not to love the ones that have caused us the most pain or that have done us wrong, but thats not what God commands us to do. I want to encourage everyone just to love and if this is something that is hard to do then pray and ask God to reveal his own love to you. And by that He will not only reveal it to you but He will show you how to love others the way we should. I love the hearts I have gotten to know here already and how they have affected my life in just one week! I'm really excited to see how God is going to continue to use this in my life. Thank you Jesus for loving me everyday even at my worst. I love you!
